Designer Mara Hoffman was born in Buffalo, NY, where she graduated as a fashion designer from Parsons School of Design in New York City. In 2008 she had her first appearance at Mercedes Benz Fashion week but it wasn't until 2009 that she launched her first swim collection which plummeted her into international success (and thank god she did!)
